Our one-on-one tutoring sessions are highly personalized and tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals. We offer tutoring for K–12 subjects, state exams, the Mark Twain Test, SHSAT, ISEE, SAT, and ACT, with remote and in-person options starting at just $65/hour.
Each session includes expert diagnostic evaluation, ongoing formative assessments, and transparent communication with detailed session feedback. Our programs are thoughtfully designed with students’ and families’ goals in mind, and all instruction is grounded in strong pedagogy supported by educational research.
It’s completely up to you! We offer flexible tutoring options to fit your needs and schedule. Most of our clients choose to meet online via Zoom or Google Meet, allowing for convenience and consistency no matter where they are. Others prefer in-person sessions, either at their home or at our Brooklyn learning center located here. We’re happy to accommodate whichever method works best for your family.
You are a busy person and we hold immense pride in being a full-service agency. It is important to us that tutoring with Ace Academy is as stress-free and convenient as possible, not only for the student, but also for the parents. As such, rest assured that your student will be working with a passionate, patient, and understanding professional educator with 5-10 years of tutoring experience.
While we strongly advocate students to attend every class and practice tests, we understand that things happen. Depending on the student’s class format or session type, we may be able to help.
With a 24 hours heads up, we will communicate with the assigned tutor to reschedule the session. If the assigned tutor is not available, we will assign a different tutor at the desired time slot.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours of notice, your session will be charged and be marked as no show. However, every 20 hour package has one complimentary courtesy pass which can be used for last minute cancellations or rescheduling.
Tutors use the platform that works best for the student (Zoom/Google Meet). The tutor and student would collaborate using a digital whiteboard while also hearing and seeing each other.
We love teaching new subjects! Please contact us so we can learn more about the specific needs and goals of the student and family.
We have a very generous tutoring referral policy. Please refer to our policies page for more information.
