Our current class is open to all grades and levels. No prior Chinese knowledge is needed — students can start from basic greetings and vocabulary to reading and writing essays!
Depending on the grade and level of the class, each class will have slightly different tailored learning experiences. Overall, most students will build listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through fun, interactive lessons.
We use stories, songs, games, and cultural activities to make learning Chinese meaningful and enjoyable.
Students are grouped by grade level and experience to ensure everyone learns at the right pace. We highly encourage students to take a short placement test before attending our classes.
Yes, but only light and meaningful homework — such as short reading passages, vocabulary practice, or fun cultural reflections. It’s designed to reinforce what students learn in class without overwhelming them.
Both!
While students practice Chinese communication skills, they also explore Chinese culture, festivals, and traditions, helping them understand the “why” behind the language. Projects and coursework will reflect these values.
Students will develop bilingual communication, focus, memory, and cultural awareness. Learning a second language also strengthens cognitive flexibility and global understanding — valuable lifelong skills.
